Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Minitickets, Inc. ("Minitickets," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use https://minitickets.com (the "Site") and purchase tickets.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, billing address.
  • Purchase data: tickets purchased, order history, Event preferences.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment processor Stripe; we receive limited information such as the last four digits of your card and a transaction token. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send to support.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
  • Campaign tags: when you arrive through a link that carries them (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), those tags, and, if you place an order for that Event, the tags saved with the order (see Section 6).
  • Connected apps: if you connect an AI app to your account, a log of the requests it makes (see Section 7).

Information from third parties:

  • Organizers, payment processors, fraud-prevention services, and analytics providers may share information with us related to your transactions.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process and deliver ticket purchases and send confirmations;
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
  • Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and ensure security;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • Send transactional messages and, with your consent where required, marketing communications;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information with:

  • Organizers of Events you attend, so they can admit you and run the Event: your name, your ticket and check-in status, and the contact details and answers you provide at checkout. Organizers may use this information only for the Event and as permitted by our Organizer terms and applicable law;
  • Service providers (payment processing, hosting, email delivery, analytics, fraud prevention) under contracts that limit their use of the data;
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety;
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Transaction records are kept to meet tax and accounting requirements.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and, where applicable, support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Where you came from (mt_src). Organizers often share links to their Events with campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), for example to tell a Telegram post from an Instagram story. When you open an Event page through such a link, we may keep those tags in a first-party cookie named mt_src. It holds only the tags, the Event's number, and the day you arrived, for up to five Events; it does not hold your name, email address, or any identifier for you, and page scripts cannot read it. It lasts 30 days. If you place an order for that Event within those 30 days, the tags are saved with the order, so the Organizer can see how many tickets each of their links led to. Organizers see totals per tag, not which guest came through which link. We do not share the cookie with anyone.

Your choice. If your device's time zone is in Europe (including the UK and Switzerland) or is not shown to us, we ask first and set mt_src only if you choose "Accept". If you choose "Decline", we set no such cookie, remove one set earlier, save no tags with your orders, and do not ask again for 180 days. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage under mt_src_consent; clearing your browser's site data resets it. Elsewhere the cookie is set without asking; you can block or delete it in your browser settings, and an order placed without it carries no tags.

7. Connected Apps (AI Assistants)

You can connect an AI app, such as an assistant that uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), to your Minitickets account. You approve each app yourself on a Minitickets sign-in page.

  • A connected app can see your name on Minitickets and whether you host Events.
  • It never sees your email address, phone number, or tickets, and it cannot buy, pay, or refund.
  • You can disconnect an app at any time in Settings → Connected apps.
  • For security, we keep a log of each request a connected app makes (the time, which app, the tool it used, and the result, without the content of the request) for 90 days.

8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, if applicable;
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@minitickets.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act / COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@minitickets.com and we will delete it.

10. Marketing Choices

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing message or by contacting privacy@minitickets.com. Transactional messages (e.g., order confirmations) are not promotional and will still be sent.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites (including Organizer, payment processor, and third-party ticketing pages). For events that sell or take registration on a third-party platform (Link Events), any information you provide on that platform is governed by its privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. Review their policies separately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on the Site.
