Minitickets

For AI assistants

Find events on Minitickets from your AI assistant

Connect Minitickets to an assistant that supports MCP, then ask for events by city, date, genre or name. The assistant answers with links to the events. It reads the same public events as this site, it needs no sign-in, and it does not buy anything.

Server address

One address, no key and no account:

https://minitickets.com/api/mcp

How to connect

In the settings of an assistant that supports remote MCP servers, add a custom connector and paste the address above. Where that lives, and whether your plan offers it, differs by assistant. No sign-in step follows: the server is open.

Tools that read a JSON configuration usually accept something like this:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "minitickets": {
      "url": "https://minitickets.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

What you can ask

  • What is on this weekend in San Francisco?
  • Free events in San Francisco tonight
  • Jazz in San Francisco next week
  • Techno in Berlin
  • Find concerts by Julian Lage

The server has one tool, events_search. It filters by city, by date words such as tonight, weekend or next week, by category and tag, by free events only, and by a name (an event, a venue or a performer, in English or Russian spelling). An answer holds up to 30 events; when there are more, it links to the same search on the site.

What it does not do

  • It does not buy tickets or hold seats: you buy on the event page the assistant links to.
  • It has no accounts, no personal data and no private events: only upcoming public events.
  • Where a host hides the venue until purchase, the assistant is not told it.
  • Event text is written by the organizers; the assistant is told to treat it as data.

Good to know

  • Event links from an assistant carry a source tag (utm_source=mcp), so organizers can see which visits came from assistants.
  • Heavy automated use may be slowed or refused.
  • Questions: support@minitickets.com.
