About

Build open agents that work together The Collaborative Agent Hackathon is a one-day event for building open-source, collaborative AI agents with Flower. Agents are changing what’s possible. We’ll explore how they can achieve more by working together safely in human-supervised multi-agent teams. You’ll form a team on the day, build a working prototype, and demo it at the end of the event. Projects can range from simple agent collaborations to more complex systems that delegate tasks, share context, and coordinate their work. You don’t need an existing team or a fully developed idea. Bring your laptop, your interests, and a willingness to collaborate. The event is generously supported by Nebius, which is providing all compute resources for the hackathon, sending expert technical mentors and judges, and contributing to the prize pool. The hackathon challenge Build an open-source agent or multi-agent system with Flower that puts safe, human-supervised collaboration at the heart of the solution. Your project could bring agents together to: Automate a real-world task Form self-improving loops through feedback and iteration Work across distributed machines and datasets Flower simplifies building multi-agent systems, with support for distributed coordination, collaborative learning and inference, and privacy-aware deployment. It is built with an open-source community of more than 7,000 users worldwide. Projects from all industries and application areas are welcome — including scientific research, healthcare, finance, content/media production, education, public services, software development and entirely new forms of human-agent collaboration. Team formation Participants register individually. Teams of two to four people will be formed during the morning, unless formed earlier. The organisers will help participants find teammates with complementary interests and experience. Already know your team? Please provide your teammates’ names when registering. Bringing an idea is optional. Eligibility: Everyone is welcome, including builders from startups and companies, as well as students, researchers, and postdocs from all universities. Awards and judges Teams will compete for a prize pool worth more than US$5,000, with awards presented after the final demos to recognize outstanding projects. Judges include: Anastasia Raskolova (Nebius) Disha Patil (ARM) Daniel Nata Nugraha (Flower Labs) Naveen Purushotham (AMD) Daria Balashova (Nebius) Dimitris Stripelis (Flower Labs) Mehul Vani (Nvidia) Sai Nagabhairava (Meta) Special thanks to our sponsor Nebius for contributing to the prize pool, providing all compute resources for the hackathon, and bringing expert technical mentors and judges. Further details on prizes will be shared before the event.
